Little Miss Personality

Addison is really starting to become her own person and it seems like everyday she has learned something completely new. She says hi, ball, woof woof (when she sees the dogs), quack quack, dada and calls me "baba". It's so cute because she tries so hard to say mama when I ask her who I am but she can't seem to get the "M" sound down quite yet.
Yesterday we had a park playdate with our playgroup and Addison spent most of her time pushing around a play car, didn't want to ride IN it just push it around...Her friend Charlotte hopped on and Addison pushed her around for quite awhile, it was hilarious!

Last night my dear friend Michelle and her daughter Bryar (15 months) came over to our new house for dinner and to catch up. Addison and Bryar had SUCH a good time together...they played hide and seek in the kitchen cabinets, sat on eachothers laps, gave hugs and kisses to one another and by the end of the night were head butting eachother and belly laughing! It's so nice to have such wonderful friends for both Addison and I!

  1. it's because in psycholinguistics and child development "b" and "m" are linked and "d" and "t" are linked, the only difference with them is that "b" and "d" are the voiced counterparts (vocal chords vibrate) and "m" and "t" are the devoiced counterparts so they are easily interchangeable. I think I also read somewhere that for toddlers learning to speak the "b" is easier to say than the "m" you may have already known that btw just thought I'd add :)

i love the new photos and am looking forward to being able to see the wedding photos!
